Prepare photos and signatures for applications
Resize and compress an image to the exact dimensions and file size an application portal asks for. Everything runs in your browser, so your photograph is never uploaded.

General image sizing
Resize and compress an image to any dimensions and file size you specify.
How this is different
Your file stays in the tab
The image is decoded, cropped and re-encoded by your own browser. No network request carries it, so there is no copy on our side to leak.
Size bands, not just ceilings
Where a portal states a minimum as well as a maximum, the encoder targets the band. A file that is too small is rejected as readily as one that is too large.
Keeps working offline
Once the page has loaded, the tools run without a connection. Useful on a patchy mobile network in the middle of a form.
Guides
- Why application photo uploads get rejectedThe technical reasons portals reject a photo — file size floors, colour profiles, HEIC files and pixel dimensions — and how to fix each one.
- Converting centimetres to pixels for application formsHow to turn a photo size stated in centimetres or inches into the pixel dimensions an upload form actually checks, and why DPI usually does not matter online.
- Background rules differ by country, and one photo will not pass everywhereThe UK asks for light grey or cream. The US, Canada and India ask for white. A photo that satisfies one is regularly rejected by the other, and here is how to get each right.
- How browser image processing works, and what privacy it actually gives youWhat "processed in your browser" means technically, what it protects against, and what it does not protect against.
